Wii:
The world of video games players were shaken when Wii introduced its motions sensitive remote control about three
years ago. Just by swinging the remote, it can be used as the golf club and golf can be played easily with this. This console encourages the users so that they can move around by just waving the remote.
Pros – this console can be used to access the internet and the games can be played online against the online players. If you have purchased some special cards, you will be able to download many games from Wii. There is parent lock that can be used to restrict children not to visit the vulgar sites that are not fit for children.
Cons – there are no extra web features such as streaming music, social-networking applications and downloadable movies.
Xbox 360:

With this gaming console, there are more advantages associated with it.

Reason: Xbox breaks and is rubbish. Wii hasnt got any real games (well recently).
good luck
With the PS3 you spend 500 clams right off the bat, but you get free internet, it won't catch on fire on you or blow up in your face from what a piece of crap poorly engineered piece of equipment it is, and, the controller comes with a wire. Also the PS3 controller does not use batteries; it charges right out of the system and the battery life is more generous I hear.
You pay less for the 360, but its a gamble man; I have been one of the lucky ones but only because I always unplug it to let it cool down completely. You leave electronic equipment plugged in electricity still flows in, and it doesn't cool completely. I figured that is the reason I have not seen the RROD. Yet. So, you run a risk, and rumor has it Microsoft has had to fix so many consoles they will remove their warranty. One billion dollars simply isn't enough to fix so many consoles. First of all, second; it is a monthly internet fee for Xbox live of I think 20 bucks. You add that up, and it comes out to $240 at the end of the year. I suck at math so let me whip out the calculator…. Yup, 240 clams man. In other words the 360 ends up costing 240 extra clams every year you own it for Xbox live, whereas on the PS3, its free internet. Why over time you end up with a $2,000 toaster oven. This does not include the peripheral costs, namely a wired controller which is a whopping 50 clams, or the recharger battery pack, OR, let us not forget that fan thing you get from amazon. You know, that fan that promises to cool the 360.
All in all, a PS3 is a safer investment regardless of cost, not to mention the fact that with 8 processors, 2 twin central units, supporting by 6 units, each processor costing a couple of hundred dollars why, that comes out to $1,600. That is the real price of the PS3 you know; $1,600. If you include the free internet, and Sony store, that price goes up to a full $2,000.
At 500 bucks I think its a steal; Sony is literally GIVING IT to you. I have been wanting one myself for some time now, as I am starting to loathe the 360 the more and more flaws I keep finding in it. All it was was a "tide me over" system; kind of the way a "jerk" type guy will sleep with a girl while he waits for a better one. The way a "jerk" thinks, is that some girls are for temporary use, other girls are better for long term.
When it comes to consoles (not girls), I think like a "jerk." If you have money to burn you should too, thing is, the 360's "tide me over" period is over; 2008 was Microsoft's year, that is why I bought it late last year, but that year is about over now. 2009, will be Sony's year, and it will likely stay on top until 2015. Hence my reason for wanting a PS3.
I hope my argument convinced you.
peace.
PS3 has alot of fun games on it, examples are mgs4, haze, resistance, cod4, and alot more fun games on it. it can also go online(FOR FREE) both on the internet and online gaming.you can buy games and downloads online.
Xbox360 has alot of funs as well, such as gears of war, halo 3, cod4, and alot more. you must have an xbox live account to play online(about 60$ per year). it does not go on the internet. you can buy games and downloads online.
Wii has alot of fun games, mostly rated E games and are more "family-oriented" then any other system in the market. still, great games such as ssbb, mario kart wii, mario galaxy, and others make it a fun system for even older people. it can go online for gaming, as well as browse the internet.
P.S- i did not type all of this for nothing,i better get those 10 pts (jk, but seriously)
Bad in PS3:
Get boring when it's almost old
It's a rip-off
It's expensive
Its almost like ps2 and ps1
The games are kinda boring
Good in PS3's:
The design
The Shape
The Color
The controller is wireless
Good in 360's:
It's cheap
The controller is wireless
It's flat
It's fun
It doesn't get boring
the games of 360 are awesome
the controller is cool and awesome
Bad in 360's:
the design is not that nice
RROD
better grapichs
free online
never had any problems with it
more people have them
overall it just better
Plus the online is free.
The wii is a party console and is great fun with mates, but for good all round gaming, music, movies, photos, reliability, customer service, price and more – I'd recommend the PS3 over the 360 any day. =)
Or else just buy one now and send it… no probs… Trust me he will love a PSP… it also has Skype support (the latest 3000 model has) so he can talk with you via it…. sweet.
I'm guessing they where practicing their tactics on CoD 4
Get the PSP
Now for the 360 its great I own one at first I thought it wouldn't be gret becuase i have allways have playstations (ps1&ps2) but I got a 360 and Its the best console on the market for the price.
If you have £550 pounds to spend then this is the best console its quiet and has the best graphics out of the lot. The hardrive is massive but the 360 will have a 60gb hardrive when the ps3 is releases in spring next year.
I hope this helped you make your mind up Any other questions just email me.
ROBBIE W GET YOUR SPELLINGS RIGHT AND ALSO WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT THE WII IS THE ONLY CONSOLE WITH A MOTION CENSOR, THE PS3 DOES ASWELL YOU NOOB.IF YOUR GOING TO GIVE ADVICE AND HELP MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT
PS3 seems to be the general "I want a bit of everything" one. I don't know that much about it, but if it's like the PS2, it'll play DVDs and stuff as well as games. The games'll be more or less what the PS2 already as. Dozens of sports games, fighting, GTA, all that kind of thing. Sony know their target audience well…*sigh* That console's very much a boy toy.
The Xbox…Well, everyone I know who's played Xbox hates it. One guy smashed his up. It's never seemed that great, to be honest.
Nintendo, that has stuff like Zelda and Mario. The control thing on the Wii seems like a novelty thing, and that might not suit a lot of people. But the games, even though there doesn't seem to be as many as there are for playstation or Xbox, tend to be of a better quality. Very few rubbish games, and even less ones like Pro Evolution Soccer 34 or whatever.
Playstation has the most games, I know nothing about the Xbox, and I think unless you're familiar with Nintendo, you're probably best off picking something else. Much as I love Nintendo, Playstation's probably the better choice if you don't know the consoles that well. Although the PSP *was* a bit of a disaster…
DON'T BUY A CONSOLE!
Buy a decent PC instead. Now let me tell you why…
> Even if certain games aren't released for the PC (such as Halo 2) the PC has a wider range of games (try playing a real-time strategy with a joypad).
> The best games ever usually appear on the PC first – look at Half Life, Half Life 2, Deux Ex, Total War, Company of Heroes, the list just goes on and on. These games are innovative – they do something different, they are magnificent, intelligent games. As an example, it was about a year after it's PC launch before you could get Half Life 2 on a console.
> PC games are often cheaper. For example, Amazon UK lists the game Prey at £14.99 for the PC and £34.99 for the X-Box 360. OK this is only 1 example, but it was the first and only example I looked at.
> Just my opinion, but PC games are better. I've bought PC games which are straight ports from a console, and I've vowed never to do that again. I find console games banal, repetitive and not worth the money.
> A great aspects of PC games is the ability to add mods (user created content, cheats, patches, etc.) only cracked games consoles can easily do this (X-box 360 and PSP3 may be an exception to this).
> Better graphics. This might sound strange, but most (all?) consoles play on a TV. TV has cr*p resolution compared to a PC monitor, thus producing crisper, clearer graphics (unless you have an HD TV and the game is new enough to make use of HD).
> Yes a PC has a higher up front cost, but after playing games, you can then type a letter, do your finances on a spreadsheet, surf the internet in an easy way.
1. Xbox 360
2. Wii
3. PS3
and the wii has violent and childsh game sanything u want nintendo has or will soon
If your like to not move, and just sit on the couch for online play, then buy a Xbox 360.
If your like to show off a big cool tv and cool entertanment center, then get a PS3.note its $600
If your like new ways of playing video games, then get a Wii.Sure they might have child games, but they are fun.You fell like your are in the game.Plus its only 250
Gears of War is the must have Next Gen game on the 360 at the moment, you're eyes will bleed with all the detail on the screen at the same time!
With xboxLive your games life are extended by months, due to constant upgrades/downloads and new online maps being freely available.
I got mine on launch day last December and it is the best thing i have ever bought. Say good bye to your social life though! Playing games till 3 in the morning is going to kill it.
