What is the best games console to buy …nintendo ,playstation,x-box etc lots of feedback please?
XBOX 360 and a wii!!!! this is general commen sense TBH….
A ps3 in the uk will cost £424.99 on release to which you will need a game so thats nother £50 and then another controller so you can play 2 player so thats another £35 so far around £500 lets say all for the amazing graphics that no one has actually seen yet and also for this magical blue ray! that obviously doesnt work properly hence the march delay. also ps3 having built in internet doesnt actually have any purpose it doesnt handle flash etc.. and wait till some smart hacker learns how to brick* your ps3…..
So in sense buy a WII for £174.99 and a 360 with games for the same price and you get two consoles for the price of one… and its generally a better offer…. just think how many people will be robbing people for ps3 and the waiting list…

Now for the 360 its great I own one at first I thought it wouldn't be gret becuase i have allways have playstations (ps1&ps2) but I got a 360 and Its the best console on the market for the price.
If you have £550 pounds to spend then this is the best console its quiet and has the best graphics out of the lot. The hardrive is massive but the 360 will have a 60gb hardrive when the ps3 is releases in spring next year.
I hope this helped you make your mind up Any other questions just email me.
ROBBIE W GET YOUR SPELLINGS RIGHT AND ALSO WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT THE WII IS THE ONLY CONSOLE WITH A MOTION CENSOR, THE PS3 DOES ASWELL YOU NOOB.IF YOUR GOING TO GIVE ADVICE AND HELP MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT
PS3 seems to be the general "I want a bit of everything" one. I don't know that much about it, but if it's like the PS2, it'll play DVDs and stuff as well as games. The games'll be more or less what the PS2 already as. Dozens of sports games, fighting, GTA, all that kind of thing. Sony know their target audience well…*sigh* That console's very much a boy toy.
The Xbox…Well, everyone I know who's played Xbox hates it. One guy smashed his up. It's never seemed that great, to be honest.
Nintendo, that has stuff like Zelda and Mario. The control thing on the Wii seems like a novelty thing, and that might not suit a lot of people. But the games, even though there doesn't seem to be as many as there are for playstation or Xbox, tend to be of a better quality. Very few rubbish games, and even less ones like Pro Evolution Soccer 34 or whatever.
Playstation has the most games, I know nothing about the Xbox, and I think unless you're familiar with Nintendo, you're probably best off picking something else. Much as I love Nintendo, Playstation's probably the better choice if you don't know the consoles that well. Although the PSP *was* a bit of a disaster…
DON'T BUY A CONSOLE!
Buy a decent PC instead. Now let me tell you why…
> Even if certain games aren't released for the PC (such as Halo 2) the PC has a wider range of games (try playing a real-time strategy with a joypad).
> The best games ever usually appear on the PC first – look at Half Life, Half Life 2, Deux Ex, Total War, Company of Heroes, the list just goes on and on. These games are innovative – they do something different, they are magnificent, intelligent games. As an example, it was about a year after it's PC launch before you could get Half Life 2 on a console.
> PC games are often cheaper. For example, Amazon UK lists the game Prey at £14.99 for the PC and £34.99 for the X-Box 360. OK this is only 1 example, but it was the first and only example I looked at.
> Just my opinion, but PC games are better. I've bought PC games which are straight ports from a console, and I've vowed never to do that again. I find console games banal, repetitive and not worth the money.
> A great aspects of PC games is the ability to add mods (user created content, cheats, patches, etc.) only cracked games consoles can easily do this (X-box 360 and PSP3 may be an exception to this).
> Better graphics. This might sound strange, but most (all?) consoles play on a TV. TV has cr*p resolution compared to a PC monitor, thus producing crisper, clearer graphics (unless you have an HD TV and the game is new enough to make use of HD).
> Yes a PC has a higher up front cost, but after playing games, you can then type a letter, do your finances on a spreadsheet, surf the internet in an easy way.
1. Xbox 360
2. Wii
3. PS3
and the wii has violent and childsh game sanything u want nintendo has or will soon
If your like to not move, and just sit on the couch for online play, then buy a Xbox 360.
If your like to show off a big cool tv and cool entertanment center, then get a PS3.note its $600
If your like new ways of playing video games, then get a Wii.Sure they might have child games, but they are fun.You fell like your are in the game.Plus its only 250
Gears of War is the must have Next Gen game on the 360 at the moment, you're eyes will bleed with all the detail on the screen at the same time!
With xboxLive your games life are extended by months, due to constant upgrades/downloads and new online maps being freely available.
I got mine on launch day last December and it is the best thing i have ever bought. Say good bye to your social life though! Playing games till 3 in the morning is going to kill it.
